Axis Bank Atlas Credit Card | The Premium Airmiles Card from Axis Bank

To compete with the likes of Citi PremierMiles Credit Card, Axis Bank too has launched a new Credit Card that offers AirMiles or EdgeMiles, as Axis Bank likes to call it, to the cardholder. The Card comes powered with Visa Signature that includes perks above and beyond those offered to Visa cardholders. The new Credit Card has been named 'Atlas Credit Card.' Details below:

Welcome Offer

• 5000 EDGE Miles as a welcome benefit

• EdgeMiles shall be applicable upon successful completion of 3 transactions on the card within 60 days from the date of card setup

• 1 EDGE Mile = INR 1

• 1 EDGE Mile → 2 Partner Mile

Tiered Benefits

As soon as you become an ATLAS Credit Cardholder, you will be part of an exclusive Silver membership tier which offers a host of benefits. As you spend more in your anniversary year, your membership tier gets upgraded. Refer table below.

* Spends limited to an anniversary cycle
Note that:

• The Cardholder tier will be valid for an anniversary year. The existing tier will be downgraded if the cardholder doesn’t achieve the tier threshold in the next year.

• Suppose a cardholder whose card issuance date is 1st Jan 2022 starts with Silver-tier and spends INR 7 lacs up to 31st Dec 2022 (end of card anniversary year 1). On 1st Jan 2023 will continue to be in the Silver tier until the cardholder spends 7.5 lacs to move to the Gold tier.

• Now, suppose  if the cardholder had spent 9 lacs before 31st Dec 2022, the cardholder will be upgraded to Gold Tier and will continue to maintain Gold tier for card anniversary year 2 (1st Jan 2023 – 31st Jan 2023) 

• Similarly, if a cardholder in card anniversary year 2 (1st Jan 2023 – 31st Dec 2023) is in the gold tier and spends a cumulative of 6 lacs only in the year. Since the Gold tier spend threshold of 7.5 lacs is not met, the cardholder will be downgraded to the silver tier in year 3 (1st Jan 2024- 31st Dec 2024)

• Likewise, if the cardholder had spent 9 lacs before 31st Dec 2023, the cardholder will continue to remain in Gold Tier in year 3 (1st Jan 2024- 31st Dec 2024) 

Accelerated Edge Miles

• 5X Miles on Travel transactions made on Axis Bank Travel EDGE Portal & Partner Airline (Air Asia, Air Vistara, Ethiopian Airlines, Turkish Airlines)

• 2X EDGE Miles on FOREX transactions (Applicable for only Platinum Tier Cardholders)

• 1X Miles on other spends

Milestone Benefit

Each tier has its own set of milestone benefits, as depicted below.

• Complimentary Concierge Services

- Complimentary Concierge Services is applicable for Gold & Platinum Tier Cardholders only.
- Gold Tier members can avail of two, and Platinum Tier members can avail of four Concierge Services in an anniversary year.

• Airport Pick Up Services

- Complimentary Concierge Services is applicable for Platinum Tier Cardholders only.
- Platinum Tier members can avail of two complimentary Airport Pickup Services.
- All bookings are to be made at least 48 hours before the travel, and all luxury cars are available upon request.

Renewal Benefit

Upon successful payment of the annual card fee of INR 5000 + GST. EDGE Miles credit shall be as per the following:

Given the benefits against the annual fee, Axis Bank Atlas CC provides excellent returns in the form of milestone benefits, renewal benefits, and numerous airport benefits.
