Flipkart silently devalues SuperCoins by 50% against Flipkart EGV Redemption

Like us, if you too were accumulating your SuperCoins eyeing that awesome Flipkart gift card worth Rs. 5000 against redemption of 2500 SuperCoins, with this post we are unfortunately cracking the pot on your SC accumulation journey.

Flipkart silently devalued the SuperCoins tremendously, '50%', to say the least. The 2500 SCs that could have fetched you a Flipkart EGV worth Rs. 5000 will now get you an EGV worth Rs. 2500 only.

A Flipkart Plus Members gets 4 SuperCoins per 100 Rupees worth of shopping, and the maximum SuperCoins one can accumulate is capped at 100 SCs per order, not matter even if your order value stands a million bucks. Even if you consider that standard rate of 4 SCs per Rs. 100, you must spend Rs. 62,500 to accumulate 2500 SuperCoins.

- When 2500 SCs fetched Rs. 5000 worth of Flipkart EGV, the Reward Rate stood at 8%.

- Now, when Rs. 62500 will fetch you Rs. 2500 worth of Flipkart EGV, the Reward Rate stands at just 4%.

We had accumulated 2465 SCs, and now these SCs suddenly started looking unattractive and pale in nature.

That's bad, very bad!
