Milestone Issues: We just love this credit card and keep using it a lot. We save 600 PM x 12 = ₹ 7200 as an instant discount on Flipkart every year without any hassle.

But there's a dark side about milestone benefits. One pretty day we received a Flipkart voucher worth 1000 on our mobile (see screenshot below).

We were happy, but then we remembered the milestone benefits. We wondered why haven't we received any Vouchers for the year 2017-2018? Bunk 2017-2018, why haven't we received anything for the year 2018-2019?

We downloaded all the statements and calculated our usage. Yes, as we supposed, we had completed all 5 milestones (see milestone illustration above) for both the years, but Axis Bank was cunning enough not to send all the Vouchers. Instead of 7000 + 7000 = 14000 INR worth of Flipkart EGVs, we had received only 1000 INR.

We called their terrible & chargeable customer support and lodged a complaint. They said they cannot take any complaint for the vouchers receivable for the year 2017-2018 and filed several complaints about vouchers related to 2018-2019—1 SR for 1 milestone.

This was 4 months back, and still, we have not received any vouchers. We had a word with their senior managers as well, but they all are blatant liars. We have been given dates after dates, commitments after commitments but only to break them and fail them. We lost our valuable time talking to them for hours on chargeable numbers and lost lots of money but still received no resolution.

Nowadays, we seldom call them for this issue because I've understood how pathetic they are.
